Laurent Giles 38 - New arrival

This Laurent Giles design yacht was built by the original owners in an iron side works yard in Wadebridge, Cornwall.  The hull is built of Iroko and the decks of Marine Ply.  Long keel, tiller steering and powdered by a Volvo MD17 36 hp engine.

The vendors have used the boat for extended cruising and have owned it over seventeen years.

Accommodation

The companionway leads to the main saloon with the galley on the port side equipped with a Taylors Gas 043 Gas Cooker, Grill & Twin Hob Burner, Sink and Cooker Extra Fan. There is a chart table opposite the galley with a deep storage locker and further chart storage draws beneath.

There is a starboard quarter berth, the port quarter is an area used for additional storage where there is a portable fridge.

The saloon has bench seating on both sides which also can be used as single berths and there is a center table. Further forward on the port side is a heads equipped with a Jabsco (Lockable Pump) sea toilet and wash basin.  Opposite the heads is a double opening deep wardrobe with ample storage space.

There is also a fore peak cabin with a double V berth with forward access to the anchor locker.
