X-Yachts 442 Mkii

Good example of this popular X-Yachts model. Superbly equipped for comfortable cruising with fully battened mainsail with Frederiksen tracks, Profurl R42, 12/220v inverter and Panda generator. 127 X-442's built between 1993-2003. The 3rd performance cruiser became a classic and remained in production for over 10 years.

X-442 MKII, built in 2002 by X-Yachts in Denmark, designed by Niels Jeppesen, Hull No. 117, LOA 13.50m (44'3), LWL 11.20m (36'7), beam 4.15m (13'6), draft 2.30m (7'5), built in accordance with European CE-Certification and ABS Hull Certification. 

Isotalic Polyester sandwich construction with biaxial E-glass fabric and reinforced triaxial E-glass fabric at high stress areas. Core material is 20-25 mm divinycell with different densities. Solid laminate around keel, rudder, and through hull fittings. Epoxy treatment under water line.  Lead keel.  Rudder blade in hand laminated triaxial E-glass.  Teak laid decks in cockpit and on bathing platform, teak on coachroof.  Lewmar hatches and openable portlights. Displacement 9.7 tons. 180 litres (40 Imp gallons) fuel capacity, plus additional diesel tank, 300 litres (66 Imp gallons) water capacity in stainless steel tank. Wheel steering with rack and pinion system transmissions, emergency tiller.
