Neptunus 55 Express

New for 2014, Neptunus Yachts is pleased to introduce the latest member of the family, the new Neptunus 55 Express. This exhilarating new vessel delivers the best of Neptunus craftsmanship in an exciting new configuration. With the traditional interior woodwork and exquisite semi-custom accents, this yacht is available in either a two cabin or three cabin layout.

With her Gregg Marshall-designed upper salon accents, this vessel features stunning interior appointments. The richness of the vessel’s finish is evident from the moment you step inside. The custom cherry-wood joinery, the creative use of burl-wood accents and the unique ceiling treatments set the tone for the entire vessel.

Below-decks, the Neptunus 55 Express uses skylight-ports and creative window designs to provide natural lighting right from the upper salon to the lower salon. Custom seating, high gloss cherry tables and a Bose sound system are all standard features. And the optional back-lit etched glass mural with your choice of seascape adds a totally new dimension to the décor, and may quickly become the centerpiece of your 55 Express.

The spacious, tastefully appointed galley offers all the amenities you require for extending cruising. More than ample counter space with solid-surface countertops, double sink, four burner countertop stove, microwave/oven, plus fridge and freezer. And the exquisite hardwood flooring is selected for each vessel to compliment your personal colour scheme and choice of cherry wood.

Upper Salon

Entering the upper salon via the aft deck through dual sliding glass doors with additional sliding insect screening and full drapes, you will find on the starboard side a comfortable large U settee with ample seating for 6 and a pedestal cherry dinette table with burled wood accents. The salon is very bright due to the large above sunroof and large windows.

To the port side, built in cherry wood high gloss cabinetry provides dual purpose as a serving counter and also houses a pop up 40” HD LED TV. Cabinets below house a Blue–Ray player with a Bose lifestyle V25 System as well as plenty of storage.

An attractive ceiling detail over the settee features 3 addition mini lights. The salon also features five Bose speakers and 8 additional mini spot lights, digital AC controls, a central vacuum outlet and a CO detector.

Hardwood flooring flows through the Salon to the helm where you will find all the navigation and engine displays set in a large beautiful burled wood wrap around dashboard. Captains and copilots seats which are adjustable custom bolstered for ultra-comfort. 4 additional mini lights provide plenty additional lighting.

The Centre helm provides the captain with a 360 degree commanding view and most controls are within hands reach.

A gleaming cherry wood staircase leads down to a stunning, fully equipped well laid out Galley and Lower Salon. The galley and the salon have an exceptionally open and airy feel as direct sunlight from the upper windshield shines directly into the lower galley and salon. 

Galley  

The galley runs immediately to port and has a full complement of equipment as below:

• Solid surface (Corianor equivalent) counter-top
• Sink and a half with hot and cold water
• Chrome pull-out faucet
• Ceramic 4 burner stop top
• Convection microwave
• Stainless steel under counter refrigerator

Lower Salon

Hardwood flooring continues into the lower salon which features a large double pedestal cherry dinette table surrounded by a U shaped settee with the ability to comfortably seat six. The attractive ceiling detail is repeated over the table with three additional mini lights. Two windows are located outboard the back of settee with drapes that can be drawn if wished. Beautiful cherry cabinets run above the windows and along the sides of the settee. A 32” HD LED TV is mounted on the wall for easy viewing.

Master Stateroom

Directly off the lower salon aft A full beam Master stateroom boasts a Queen Size berth with inner spring matters and custom headboard with inlay mirror and flanked by two burl wood topped cherry nightstands with two drawers and ample counter space. A reading light in the soffit above for each side of the berth. Drawer storage under the berth, to both port and starboard are full sized cedar lined hanging lockers and cherry wood banks of drawers with burl wood counter-tops, upper windows covered as needed by drapes.

Going forward to port is an area to be used as a vanity with two drawers, a stool and a dedicated halogen light. On port & strb side are 4 windows, with two of those that are opening for cross ventilation.

A 22” HD LED TV with a Blue –Ray is mounted on the aft wall next to the entry door.

Also in the Master Cabin are a carpeted sole, six halogen lights, and two 110 volt power outlets, under the berth rope lighting and a Bose wave music system (AM/FM/CD/Alarm) 

Master Head

Forward is the well-appointed master head with a large shower with frame less door, with solid surface shelf, exhaust fan and fixed port light. To starboard is a cherry vanity with cupboard space below and two door mirrored cabinet above

A vessel sink with a very unique chrome waterfall type faucet sits atop a solid surface corian counter-top.

The toilet is an Atlantes electric model from Raritan and features fresh water flush.

The sole of the Head is mosaic tile and the overhead is mirrored.

VIP Stateroom

Going forward from the salon is the VIP Stateroom with a Queen Size center line queen size berth with inner spring mattress.   There are drawers and cupboards under the berth as well as rope accent lights. To both port and starboard are built in cherry counter tops that serve as nightstands with 2 opening port lights with drapes. Further above are Cherry cabinets on each side.   Starboard is a cedar lined hanging locker.

A 22” HD LED TV is mounted on the aft wall next to the entry door.

Also featured in this cabin is a carpeted sole, central vacuum, outlet two reading lights, four halogen lights and two 110 volt power outlets, Bose wave music system (AM/FM/CD/Alarm)

VIP /Guest Head

Port side forward is the VIP/Guest head to be shared by the Guest and the VIP cabin. There are dual access door for this purpose. The cherry cabinet has one cabinet door below, mirrored cherry cabinets above. A vessel type sink above the Corian counter top and a very unique waterfall type faucet is above. A large shower with frame less door, exhaust fan and fixed port light.

The toilet is an Atlantes electric model from Raritan and features fresh water flush.

The sole of the Head is marble and the overhead is mirrored.
