This is one of the most popular designs of the Hunter line (see manufacturer's comments above). These vessels were designed to be easily handled by one or two, and have two comfortable and spacious staterooms each with their own head and separate stall shower. The main salon, galley and nav station are well designed for efficient and comfortable living. Please note that SEASCAPES has her original owner who has maintained her at one of Maine's best yards. Although her engine hours are 1560, the owner reports that a third of those hours were for charging the batteries. She is equipped with an In Furling mast system, a 5.5kw generator, 2 zone air conditioning, an inflatable and Honda 8 hp outboard, a windlass, and a full complement of Raymarine electronics. Please give us a call for your personal inspection. This vessel is in first class condition. Thank you for your interest.

MANUFACTURER'S COMMENTS: Hunter Marine continues an aggressive product plan with the introduction of the 44 Aft Cockpit Cruiser. This innovative cruiser shares the same performance hull with the recently introduced 44 Deck Saloon, but comes in a lower profile. The boat was drawn by noted designer Glenn Henderson and sports some rather intricate features not usually found on cruising boats of this size. First is a "Bow Hollow", which increases the flow of water in the forward sections and increases hull speed. Second is a "Stern Reflex", which allows a flatter exit wake and less turbulence. This also increases performance. Hunter has learned much from the recent IOR boats and has incorporated some into cruising boats to enhance their performance without sacrificing comfort and the ease of sailing. The 44 Aft Cockpit offers superior design details amenities and comfort. A unique forward stateroom layout featuring a Pullman style double berth provides plenty of space and storage. The salon is full beam and allows for entertaining and dining in grand style. Aft, is the master stateroom, which is enhanced by carrying the wide beam well aft. Innerspring mattresses are standard and the finely finished teak interior and cabinetry are first-class. Upgraded hardware and fabrics really add to her liveability and attractiveness.
