Purchased mid 2012, her new owner treated her to countless improvements including all new soft goods and stonework, Fabrica Masai carpet throughout, handmade Vahallan wallpaper in the Heads and a detailed fitting out of all her systems.

The electronics received a $10,000 backend update where new Furuno Black Box processor, sounder module, transducers and networking were added retaining the Usable Furuno Nav Net hardware. 

During yard visits in 2014 she saw bottom paint, cutlass bearings, prop speed added, a new gold boot top in awlgrip and perhaps the most valuable improvement any 64’ Hatteras can have, stabilizers.  After much research the Wesmar system with the new Triple Axis controller was chosen and installed.  The results were so dramatic the owner decided to upgrade to a 72’ Hatteras MY to cruise even further afield.  PANACEA represents the cleanest, best equipped and most “ready to go” Hatteras 64 ever to be offered for sale.  A bold statement?  Come see for yourself!

Entering the yacht via the generous molded swim platform with teak decking there are three teak steps to the Aft Deck on the starboard side.  The Aft Deck has built in seating aft, a table, steps to the port and starboard side decks and teak steps to the Flybridge to starboard. 

The Salon is entered through a sliding stainless steel door.  The open deck plan makes for a feeling of spaciousness that flows from the Salon through the Galley and Dinette right up to the centerline Lower Station Controls. 

Steps next to the Lower Station lead to the three staterooms, each en suite.  The Master is midship and full beam (unlike four cabin versions).  The VIP is forward and the Twin Berth Cabin is to port.

The Flybridge is accessed via inside stairs as well as those from the Aft Deck.  It is enclosed with a fiberglass hardtop, clear enclosure and is fully air conditioned.

Accessed via a walk through door in the transom or a hatch in the Aft Deck is a single Crew Cabin with head.
