Riviera Enclosed Bridge

This 53 Riviera will turn heads!  It is a vessel of considerable interior volume, allowing Riviera’s designers to create unprecedented living spaces, elegant amenities and unrivalled performance.

When it comes to propulsion, Riviera designers have settled on new-generation, fuel efficient pod drives to propel the Riviera 53 to a top speed of around 30 knots and a cruise speed between 23-25 knots delivering a range of 400 nautical miles depending on engine options on a 925 gallon fuel tank.

“Each Riviera vessel is an evolution on the last,” says Riviera’s naval architect, Alan Dowd. “After launching nearly 4,800 Riviera's over the past 30 years, the new 53 is clearly our best boat yet.”

The Riviera design team has brought light and fresh air from the huge cockpit into the main salon living space, through a sliding glass door and a hinged awning window.

Stepping aboard from the cockpit, to starboard is a C-Zone Touch Screen.  The screen offers full control of circuits as well as the ability to view important on board systems information such as tank levels and power levels (for both AC and DC supplies), and also provide audiable and visual alarms with systems diagnostics

The U-shaped galley is to port and features large aft and side windows for an expansive, open feeling.

Forward of the galley is the salon with a C-shape dinette to port, facing a C-shaped settee on the starboard side.  This is a spacious social setting for up to 10 in sheer cruising comfort.  The setees are plush and luxurious, with a generous depth of padding and bone leather upholstery.  Window coverings feature Roman BlindsA wide screen 42” TV on electric lift rises from the dash forward on the port side bringing Bose Stereo System entertainment to the entire living area.

Stepping down from the salon are 3 staterooms and 2 heads with showers.  The Miele Washer/Dryer is conveniently located in the companionway.

A  Guest cabin is to port and features twin upper/lower bunks with a huge cedar-lined locker, chest of drawers and built-in bureau.

Forward, you enter the VIP Stateroom which features full headroom, an island queen size bed with overhead hatch for light and ventilation, wraparound high gloss timber cabinetry and soft upholstered fabric panel details, creating a very warm and inviting space. This cabin’s considerable floor space enhances a very spacious cabin with a bureau fitted with a mirror.  Also included is a 22" Samsung LED TV and DVD player.  Includes private access to the Guest head with shower.

The full beam Master Stateroom features a headliner detail of lighting, fabric and timber above the king size bed and soft fabric upholstered bed head.  Large fixed and opening port holes bring light and fresh air into the master suite with an Open Portlight alarm sounding at the helm. A double seater lounge to starboard and dresser bureau to port add to the sense of total, private luxury. Its own separate ensuite has non-slip floor, vanity unit mounted w/porcelain feature sink, shower stall w/teak seat, vacu-flush toilet and Grohe fittings.  46" Samsung LED TV and Bose Stereo system.  Positioned amid ships forward of the main engineering space, this stateroom is extremely quiet.

The Enclosed Flybridge is reached from the starboard stairs in the salon and is an additional living/entertainment space.  The helm is forward for long-distance cruising with skipper and mate seated on twin swivel pedestal chairs for maximum visibility.  To starboard of the helm is a leather settee allowing guests easy conversation with the skipper and full forward viewing while cruising.  Aft of the helm is a dinette table with a bone colored leather upholstered C-shape settee which seats six comfortably.  A wet bar with drawer fridge and sink serves to refresh while underway or entertaining while in port. Prepared food is easily brought up to the flybridge from the galley below via the internal staircase. At rest or underway, the staircase can be secured for privacy or as a safety precaution via a folding, lockable hatch that disappears when open into varnished cabinetry.  The roof of the flybridge boasts a sliding electric sun roof creating a sky-lounge, typical of much larger vessels. Side-opening windows and surround visibility will add to the light, airy atmosphere.  Also fitted with custom fitted carpet and 6 rod holders.
