Boston Whaler 28 Outrage - NEW LISTING

For decades, Boston Whaler has ranked among the best builders
of deep-V center consoles in the business. And since
quality never comes cheap, Whalers are always among the most
expensive boats to buy. Introduced in 2009, the 280 Outrage
is a hardcore center console meant for serious fishing as well
as comfortable coastal cruising. With her three-sided, tempered
glass windshield, electric forward vent window, and integrated Ttop
(with floodlights and life jacket storage) the 280 offers something
different from previous Whaler designs. Highlights include
a foldaway transom seat, aft-facing amidships seats, lockable
rod storage, 40-gallon livewell with clear-top window, two macerated
fish boxes, full-length cockpit bolsters, and over 20 rod
holders. Note the through-stem anchor system and recessed
windlass. The console compartment includes a VacuFlush toilet.
Built on a new Whaler hull with generous freeboard and a
relatively wide 9'4" beam, the 280 Outrage has more transom
deadrise than any previous Whaler model. As with all Boston
Whalers, her foam-filled hull is unsinkable. Twin 300hp Verado
four-stroke outboards top out at close to 50 knots.

The Boston Whaler 28 Outrage features an Accutrack hull system that rides dry and steady. Large-capacity fuel tanks provide excellent range while Unibond construction makes this boat virtually unsinkable. A fishing machine, the 28 Outrage has everything needed for an expedition, including big in-deck fish boxes, rod racks under the gunnels, and rod holders in the gunnels and console. The center console design allows for a 360-degree walk-around, perfect for fighting fish. Other options include a livewell, prep station, tackle drawer, extra rod holders, and a T-top with rocket launchers. Standard features on this boat include welded stainless steel grab rails, textured nonskid surfaces, a swim platform and boarding ladder, and an enclosed head. With the optional ski pylon and freshwater shower, this boat becomes a watersports towing machine. Slick gelcoat, all-fiberglass construction, stainless steel hardware and fittings, and marine-grade vinyl upholstery make for easy and quick cleanup.
