Construction
Built exceedingly strong by Guy Couach, the hull deck joint is riveted and glued with 3M 5200 then thru-bolted and glassed over giving us a virtual monocoque hull. Hull deck and superstructure of unidirectional and biaxial fiberglass with isopthalic resin, Kevlar and Baltek Contour core end grain balsa core; three watertight bulkheads bolted and glassed in place, (4) fiberglass longitudinals and other members foam filled and glassed in place. Note that all tankage is fiberglass, eliminating corrosion and leakage problems.
