Lettie is a classic Handy Billy beauty.  She is a 21-foot V-bottomed launch was built in 2001 on Martha’s Vineyard by Pat Cassidy at Cassidy and Walton Boat shop at Five Corners.

This hard-chine beauty promises to take stiff breezes and choppy seas in stride.  Lettie has a batten seam construction, with a white oak backbone and frame, Douglas fir battens, white pine planks, and a white pine deck.  All the wood is solid stock.  She is finished with oil-based enamel and varnish that gives her a glossy appearance.

Lettie has had one owner and has been well maintained and cared for over the years.  For the past 4 years she has only been used for an average of 3 weeks per summer.  She’s in great condition and is painted annually from bow to stern.  Lettie is a joy for the whole family and friends (seats 8).

With a 25horsepower, 4-cycle Honda outboard placed in the hull she is one of the quietest outboard boats available today.  The engine only has 565 hours, virtually new.  Other details include electric start, electric bilge, classic steering wheel and throttle, vintage running lights, compass that mounts to center console, and a flagstaff.  A 2001 LoadRite trailer with less than 2,000 miles.
