CONSTRUCTION                            

Built in 1999.  GRP construction with blue topsides (re-sprayed 2013 by Tollesbury Marina) and white superstructure, long keel with bilge keels enabling her to sit upright when ashore.  Large aft cockpit with engine box, enclosed wheelhouse and cabin with galley and heads.  She has 3 berths.

Perkins Sabre 225HP inboard Turbo Diesel.  Shaft drive to 4 blade fixed propeller.  478 litre stainless steel fuel tank.  Alternator charging to 2 x 12 volt batteries (both replaced in 2007).  Her cruising speed under engine is around 10 knots with a maximum speed of around 15 knots.  Current engine hours are approx 500.  Large hinged engine box cover gives access to engine from cockpit.  She has access to propeller when afloat from hatch in bilge aft.  Trim tabs.

Suunto compass, Lowrance LMS-350A echo sounder and GPS, Navico RT1200 VHF radio, Sony FM/AM radio and CD with multi changer, JRC radar 1000, clock and barometer, navigation lights, steaming light, steerable security light, anchor light and deck light.

DOMESTIC EQUIPMENT:           

She has an Eberspacher diesel hot air heater with single outlet, 240 volt ringmain (with mains/earth leakage trip) with shore power lead and battery charger.  Forward opening wheelhouse window, helmsman’s seat.  Her galley has a gas cooker with 2 burners, oven and grill (gas bottles in venting cockpit locker).  Hot and cold water supply to stainless steel sink from 196 litre stainless steel water tank.  Her separate heads compartment has a Jabsco marine toilet, 16 litre holding tank with electric pump out facility.  Blue fabric upholstery with blue curtains and blue carpets.

ACCOMMODATION:                       

She has 2 “V” berths in the forward cabin with in fill to make a double and a single berth in the wheelhouse.

REMARKS:                               

“Blue Marlin” was purchased by her current owner in 2004 as the second owner and a pre-purchase survey report is available from that date.  Her engine has been serviced every winter by Volspec from new, she is anti-fouled each winter and at present she lies afloat in Tollesbury Marina.
