Bruckmann

The Bruckmann 65 represents a continuation of a very successful design series by Mark Ellis and built by Bruckmann Yachts in Ontario, Canada. The previous designs, the 50 ft. Bruckmann and the first in the series, the Northeast 400, by Cabo Rico Yachts, established that a classic motor sailor look, with an efficient underbody and moderate sail plan, can be an excellent performing sailboat.  The sail area to displacement rating of 17.8 explains the sailing potential, and the John Deere 250 HP engine driving the boat to 11 knots, gives you great cruising performance in all weather conditions.

The design features a large cockpit on the same level as the saloon, and generous windows forward for excellent visibility while sailing or motoring. From the saloon level, step down a few gradual steps to the lower area where one finds three large ensuite staterooms and fantastic den/library/office space, which can be configured in a variety of ways.

The combination of Mark Ellis and Bruckmann Yachts working together has brought many successful designs to our market, and the new 65 will be a fantastic continuation of this great working relationship.
