ECLIPSE is a one owner 1994 model Tayana 47/48 designed by the highly respected Robert Perry and built at the renowned Ta Yang Yacht Building Co Ltd in Taiwan. With a one peice, hand laid GRP hull with PVC core and composite GRP/ Balsa deck the Tayana range has a well earned reputation of being strong able and seaworthy blue water cruisers. She is powered by a 65hp Yanmar turbo diesel giving an easy 6.5kn cruising speed and 8kn top speed and she has a sparkling performance under sail due to the cutter rig which is powerful yet easily handled by cruising couples.

ECLIPSE has a very good inventory of equipment on board and there are many new items that have been installed over the last twelve months, however there are still some new items on board ready for fitting. ECLIPSE also had a new mast and boom installed in 2013 along with all standing and running rigging and a new headsail furler still in the box is supplied for fitting. All the usual safety equipment is on board including a new Caribe dinghy.

ECLIPSE does require some cosmetic attention in a few areas inside with some varnish work needed and the owner has opted to have no bright work on the exterior however this has been taken into account in the asking price and she represents exceptional value for a buyer prepared to complete the re fit.
