Built on the same proven hull as the 80 Tri-Deck, the Northern Marine 80 Series Raised Pilothouse yacht offers a lower profile and a superstructure that has been extended forward, evidence of an innovative and functional arrangement within.

The full-beam master suite has been located amidships on the lower deck for an extra measure of stability and comfort on open ocean crossings. A stairway leads up to the main deck from a private foyer serving the owners and VIP suites. In the saloon, a large fixed lounge to port faces a large-screen TV and casual seating opposite. Just forward, a dining banquette is adjacent to an exceptionally well-equipped galley.

Forward and up one half-level, the pilothouse offers an unobstructed view ahead over the Portuguese bridge and generous bulwarks, part of a hull form that ensures a dry ride. A raised observation/dining settée just forward of a convenient pilot berth overlooks the helm console with its array of state-of-the-art navigation and communication electronics. A second helm station on the flybridge includes plenty of guest seating, with a virtual 360-degree view for all. Salon
The principal entrance to the main saloon is from the aft deck through a single large Freeman weather tight door. The design criterion was to create a safe, comfortable all ocean voyaging yacht incorporating robust high quality systems and quintessential old world charm.

The interior is classically styled rich paneled cabinetry with the salon featuring transverse beams forming a coffered overhead combined with Whisperwall off white fabric. The salon is quite simply inviting and comfortable. The furniture was selected for its comfort and elegance offering a perfect respite for relaxation and quite conversation. The windows are at a height relationship providing anyone seated with a view. Immediately you become aware of the gorgeous upholstery fabrics and furniture together with hand carved woodwork, English and Italian fixtures creating a fabulous traditional seagoing motif. Roman shades and drapery are coordinated and subtlety blends into the surroundings with mullions, valances and soffits. With the blinds raised a substantial amount of natural light enters through the seven tall side windows and the fore and aft doors. The soft furnishings were chosen to create a dateless atmosphere of luxury and refinement. The symmetry of the cabinetry is all carefully designed and executed. The décor is principally Campari red, sable and caramel with a hint of green. English Besselink library wall lamps with hand-made silk shades with complimenting trims add to the ambience. The carpeting has Soundown sound attenuation padding for a comfortable underway atmosphere. The air-conditioning vents are concealed in the upper cabinetry.

At the forward end on the starboard side is a built-in bar. Fitted with fluted columns and leaded glass doors there is generous storage along with a refrigerated wine storage.

Pilothouse
This is a pilothouse designed for serious navigation. Systems are located at strategic points and placed for ease of operations and viewing. There are both hydraulic stern and bow thruster controls. An experienced operator would not have the slightest difficulty operating Julianne. A Portuguese bridge is forward.

Aft to port is a raised L-shape settee which seats four, and commands an excellent panoramic view. A watch berth is located immediately aft. The triangular Venezian gold granite top table is set on a fluted column pedestal with book storage. This is an ideal place for relaxation, navigation and dining. The upholstery is subtle tones of beige and gold.

Just aft on the starboard side is the elaborately finished day head. The vanity top is Venezian gold granite with an undermount sink that is hand painted showing flags of the world.

Flybridge/Upper Helm
The flying bridge is a fabulous area not only for piloting but lounging and dining. The entire area is sheltered with a fiberglass hard top. Including the center line helm there are three Stidd ultra-leather upholstered, electrically controlled seats. Aft to starboard is a L-shaped lounge with table and opposite to starboard a double settee. The deck is teak. Aft is a built-in beverage refrigerator and plenty of storage. Down just a few steps is the boat deck.

The entire area is protected with an integral fiberglass top.

Aft Deck
The aft deck is a spectacular area, beautifully outfitted and ideal for alfresco dining. It is sheltered entirely by the boat deck. Forward in built-in granite top cabinetry is a beverage refrigerator, wet bar with sink and abundant storage. Aft is a large rectangular Emerald Pearl granite top pedestal table with semi-circular seating aft and three Summit teak framed upholstered dining chairs, as well as two Sutherland teak Classic dining recliners with pull-out ottomans. When deployed, the Benzoni passerelle entry is on the port side. There are side boarding gates and direct access to the walk-around side decks. From the starboard side is a built-in stair to the integral swim platform and transom lazarette entry. An enclosure is optional sliding into the fitted track for use when needed to shelter all or part of the deck area. The surrounding bulwarks are high and offer excellent shelter. The aft cleats are mounted in the bulwarks and not on the deck surface greatly facilitating their use. On either side are warping windlass. The yacht is configured for a variety of mooring applications capable of docking virtually anywhere.

Deck side access doors options from the lower deck, two on the starboard side and one on the port in addition to the two upper access doors. Boarding dockside is easily accomplished with a variety of alternatives.

Master Stateroom
The entry is opposite the galley on the starboard side and shares access with the VIP stateroom situated just forward of the stair case to the master.

The amidships master stateroom is nestled into the center of the yacht, the area for least motion and occupies the full beam. The ambiance is particularly splendid and is truly old world elegant, highlighted with an African cherry wood and upholstered headboard. Dressers and nightstand tops are Madrona burl and book shelves have fiddles. Wall mounted English Besselink swing arm reading lights with hand-made silk shades are located above nightstands. Storage is significantly generous with a variety of drawers, cupboards together with three cedar lined hanging wardrobes. The drapery includes a black out lining. The full walk around bed is King-size with a Tempurpedic mattress.

The en-suite bathroom is finished in honey onyx, sable onyx and calcutta marble tiles, it is stunning. Illuminated from below the onyx sink provides an exceptional highlight. The generous full sized shower with built-in seat and frameless glass door complements this generously sized bathroom. The wood framed beveled mirror is flanked by two Phoenix Day stain nickel wall sconce lamps with hand-made silk shades. The walls curve around the vanity adding a sense of added space.

Forward behind a mirrored door and a water tight door is the ?tank room?. Named such for the tanks that principally occupy the space, however this is also an equipment room, dry stores area and general parts storage. A center full height walkway provides exceptional access.

VIP Stateroom
From the starboard side opposite the galley area is a subtle two step down access to the forward lavishly comfortable VIP suite.

Jetoba hard wood floors are throughout and the walk around queen size bed is fitted with a fabric-upholstered wood framed headboard. On either side are built-in night stands with English Besselink swim arm reading lights with hand-made silk shades and drawer storage. Throughout there is a significant variety of storage options in lockers and drawers. The built-in book case includes fiddles. On the starboard side are two opening ports affording natural light and ventilation if desired. The rich décor is primarily earth tones and the bed cover is done in tones of gold and bronze with a hint of ruby red. There is a variety of lighting schemes possible.

Forward 4th Stateroom 
This is a spacious triple bunk cabin with two single upper and lower berths on the port side and large single berth to starboard all fitted with Tempurpedic mattresses.

Laundry Room
Aft of the master suite entrance is the laundry room, general storage and engine room access. The engine room can be accessed from two entry's, inside and from the transom door. The outboard counter is finished in Corian and includes a flush mounted sink. Adjacent is a storage locker for cleaning supplies. The main electrical distribution panel is in the area and immediately adjacent to the engine room entry. The built-in laundry equipment is a Maytag Neptune full size washer and dryer.
