Azimut 78 Flybridge

Light defines and envelopes sinuous elegant lines that guard the secret of balanced beauty.
The large mirror-finished windows on the main deck are situated in the midst of superb elegance further enhanced by natural light. The bow characterises a grand planing vessel, marking the creation of a silhouette synonymous with the hard top. A hidden side door leading into the deckhouse is used as crew access, allowing a high level of privacy for the owner and their guests.

The flybridge is distinguished by three living areas: towards the stern one finds the sun-deck with Jacuzzi. The dinette is in the centre, with a table seating 8 and a multi-functional bar unit fully equipped and protected by an adjustable opening hard top. The helm station is located towards the bow, offering sporty sensations and ease of manoeuvring. The adjacent spacious sun-deck allows for better contact with guests.

The beauty of the azimut 78 is truly striking on the outside, while its intelligent layout is incredibly appealing inside. This, thanks to design and style solutions that create individual rooms with specific functions, whilst framing them in walnut portals without creating any physical barriers. A choice that amplifies that feeling of space, accentuated by an unrivalled view of the sea.

The Azimut 78 Ultra Motoryacht exhibits the flowing and curvaceous styling which is a trademark of designer Stefano Righini. The flying bridge is unusually wide, which enhances comfort for those up top. Covered side decks make it is possible to move from the helm to the cockpit completely sheltered. The large elliptical side windows are a trademark of the Azimut line. Those in the saloon have complete visibility to the outside even when seated. All window glass is bonded directly to the fiberglass - there are no metal window frames that can leak. The 78 is semicustom. Three interior layouts, two flying-bridge configurations, and a variety of interior decors are available. The European version features a saloon, dining area, enclosed galley, and wheelhouse on the main level, while the lower level has the crew's quarters fully forward, VIP and guest stateroom fully aft, and a second VIP and owner's staterooms amidship. The American version is the same on the main deck except that the galley is open to the wheelhouse. On the lower deck this version also has a VIP stateroom (which can be fitted out as an office) and guest stateroom aft, but forward there's a larger crew's quarters with galley that can be accessed from the wheelhouse. A large owner's stateroom is amidship. The Far East version devotes the entire main deck to saloon and dining area and puts the galley fully forward on the lower level (connected to the main level by a dumbwaiter) along with the midship master and aft VIP and guest cabins. The Classic decor features cherry wood and cherry burl, finished lacquer, alcantara upholstery, and Carrara marble. The High Tech decor is completely different - silver, gray, and metallic lacquer offset by bright upholstery fabrics, mirrors, and brushed chrome. Azimut engineers built a full-scale wooden model to make sure all proportions and dimensions were correct before the first lamination. They tank-tested her hull to guarantee good performance and seakeeping. The 78 sports flush-fitting windows and uses special UV-resistant gelcoat and LARICROSS foam-cored panels for non-structural bulkheads to save weight and dampen sound. The use of Epacryn resin eliminates osmosis, making possible a 10-year hull warranty. All Azimut vessels are built using advanced construction materials, including special laminates with bi-axial and tri-axial glass fiber matting to ensure maximum strength with minimum weight, and the latest generation of isophthalic polyester resins to protect against osmosis. Azimut backs this up with a 10-year guarantee against osmosis and structural breakdown, accompanied by an engine manufacturer's 5-year guarantee. Azimut quality has been recognized by the receipt of the quality certification rating ISO 9001, a certification gained after passing the highly demanding series of tests and checks required by the authorities established in this area.
