ALADDIN is a custom finished, 55 ft. motor vessel that was originally built for the U.S. Navy under contract with UNIFLITE, Inc.  The hull was constructed in 1979 but never completed or commissioned. The original owner purchased the unfinished vessel at a government auction and completed the construction and refitting for use as a limited charter craft in 1987.  In 2003 the original owner replaced both engines with new Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI engines. The current owner purchased the boat in the Fall of 2012 and has completed major repairs and upgrades to the hull, outdrive units, navigation equipment and interior systems.  A VacuFlush toilet and holding tank were added along with all new batteries a new three bank smart battery charger and new thru-hull fittings.  Both engines were completely serviced including oil and filter changes, new raw water impellers, new zinc anodes.  Both outdrive lower end units were completely rebuilt.

The current owner is selling due to a job transfer overseas.

A flybridge capped trunk cabin is located amidships with a large aft cockpit.  The accommodations are accessed via a door from the cockpit.  Immediately to Starboard is an enclosed compartment with a VacuFlush toilet.  A small settee is located to Starboard and forward of the head.  To Port is a double berth with a single berth above.  The upper single berth can be lowered to convert the lower double berth into a large settee with cushioned back.  The Galley is located to Port in the center of the main cabin with a large U-Dinette located opposite to Starboard.  A bulkhead and door separate the main cabin from the forward Master Stateroom which features a separate compartment with a large vanity cabinet and sink plus a full size stall shower.  The Master Stateroom is fitted with a queen bed and ample cabinet storage to Starboard.  Forward of the queen berth is a large bow storage locker.
