Inventory

Stern “Swim Platform” accessed from cockpit via inward opening gate, fitted with stowage/carrying clips for the Typhoon 305 inflatable dinghy.  Teak coaming and stainless steel handrails  are fitted to the cockpit.  Access to the lazaret is via two deck hatches in the cockpit deck.  In addition to stowage space the lazaret contains the Diesel fuel tank [417l] and the F.W. tank [100l.]  A locker c/w o’board drain is fitted for gas canister stowage.  There is a stainless steel and teak ladder for access to Fly Bridge [Monkey Island/ Fly Bridge – This is Not fitted with engine or steering controls.]  Collapsible Bimini cockpit canopy is fitted.  The extended radar arch is fitted with :- radar scanner, radar reflector, VHF aerials, cockpit floodlights, lightning conductor and lifebuoy.  The sat. nav. aerial is fitted on the stbd. side coaming of theMonkeyIsland.

Continuous s.s. handrail fitted to port and stbd. side of wheelhouse.  s.s. tube and wire handrail from cockpit to pulpit.  There are three mooring cleats and three fender baskets port & stbd.  Forrad is the electric windlass c/w tilting, self stowing anchor fairlead.  Chain locker below with  14kg Brittany Anchor c/w warp of 50m. chain and 30m polyester anchor warp.  The chain locker is self draining and used as spare gas canister store.

Heads/Stowage

  •   This space is three steps down from the wheelhouse.  The vertical face of the top step contains the main battery switch panel.  On the port side is the switch panel for all the services, navigation equipment tec.  On the starboard side is the control unit for the Mikumi heater and the override switch for the engine room bilge pump.  On the starboard side is stowage and hanging space.  Included is the main control panel for the shore electrical supply.  There are small opening portlights, port and stbd. in this space.
  • The helm position is on the stbd. side forrad.  The engine and steering controls are grouped here, together with the displays for the  navigation equipment.  To the starboard side of the helm is the single lever engine control and the engine instrument panel.  In the locker under this is the emergency control for the engine space fire extinguisher  Above and forrad is the control for the 80kg bow thruster.  Directly forrad of the helm is the Raytheon SL72 Radar and the Raytheon RC 435 GPS & colour chart plotter, forrad is the magnetic steering compass.  In the deckhead above is the Raytheon DS 600 fishfinder, the Silva S15 VHF and Navtex.  In addition a radio/cd player is mounted in the deckhead.  Visibility from the helm position is excellent.  There are two windscreen wipers for the forrad windows and the port and stbd windows have sliding openings.

Engine Compartment

  • It is spacious and allows good access to the engine and associated equipment for maintenance and access to the seacocks.  The engine is a Volvo kAMD 230h.p. diesel.  Last serviced at the end of August 2010, since when it has been run for approximately 10 hours.  The total engine hours is 193.
  • The electrical system has been configured to provide maximum flexibility.  There is a 12 volt battery for the main domestic supply and separate 12 volt batteries for engine start and the bow thruster.  The domestic supply can be cross connected to the engine start circuit.  Charging is controlled by a three way twenty amp charger.  There is a 220 volt power supply, a connecting socket and lead for the shore supply, with 220volt sockets in the forrad cabin and saloon.
  • The engine compartment sump has a float actuated bilge pump with an override switch.  The pump and controls are located forrad of the engine space.  The sump is also connected to a manual pump that discharges [output 2 litres, per stroke] to the cockpit bilge.  On the port side of the engine space there is a diesel powered space heater, a Mikuni MYE 16.  This has outlets in the wheelhouse and the forrad cabin.  There is a hot water supply that uses 220volt shore supply and the circulating cooling water of the engine.  This is fitted forrad of the space heater.
  • A galvanic isolator is  fitted in the battery charging circuits – this works well.

Fore Cabin

  •  The main fitting in this space is a double bunk, fitted to the port side.  Underneath is access to the power unit of the bow thruster.  On the stbd. side there is a quarter bunk and small hanging space, this houses the warm air outlet. There are opening portlights, port and stbd.  and a deck/escape hatch above the bunk.
  • The engine compartment sump has a float actuated bilge pump with an override switch.  The pump and controls are located forrad of the engine space.  The sump is also connected to a manual pump that discharges [output 2 litres, per stroke] to the cockpit bilge.  On the port side of the engine space there is a diesel powered space heater, a Mikuni MYE 16.  This has outlets in the wheelhouse and the forrad cabin.  There is a hot water supply that uses 220volt shore supply and the circulating cooling water of the engine.  This is fitted forrad of the space heater.
  • On the port side is the allocated space for the heads and facilities for washing and showering.  The seacocks for the toilet are contained under the sink unit and there is a shower drain in the deck.
  • It is spacious and in addition to the controls for the handling of the vessel, it is the main living area.
  • Astern of the helm position is the domestic unit consisting of single draining board and sink and a two burner gas hob stowage lockers, drawers and a 42l refrigerator are fitted underneath                                  
  • Access to the wheelhouse is via a large sliding door at the after end.  Extending up the port side is a benched seating area and table,  This can be converted to a double bed by re-arranging table and cushions etc.  Again there is ample stowage under the bench seating.
