Nicholson 32 Mk X - Price just reduced

With a production run spanning some 20 years the iconic Nicholson 32 could arguably be the most successful design of its type with models running from the MkI - MkXI. The later models MKX - MKXI benefited from modified mouldings for both the hull and coachroof given slightly more length and volume along with improved sailing performance.

Offering accommodation for 4 in a traditional style layout with a large saloon and deep cockpit the boat is ideally suited to sailing with a young family or short handed long distance type cruising. Sobaux has been well maintained through out her life and is in good condition above and below decks with the hull and decks still being finished in the original eggshell gelcoat. Currently wintering ashore here at Ardfern.

With sturdy guardwires running the length of the boat, substanstial moulded toerail and array of solid teak grabrails running the length of the boat moving around on deck can be safely achieved in any weather. The large open foredeck is clear of obstructions apart from the Lofrans Airon electric windlass. A large anchor locker is also provided and is of sufficent volume for the ships anchor and associated gear.

Wide side decks run aft along the stepped coachroof. All halyards and reefing lines are easily accessible at the mast.

A large full width sprayhood and deep moulded coamings create a deep and very sheltered cockpit, ideal for younger sailors. Moulded bench style seating along either side of the cockpit create two large cockpit lockers with the mainsheet traveller crossing the cockpit at the aft end of the seating, immediately forward of the rudder stock. Aft of this is an additional thwartships seat which creates two seperate self draining gas lockers.
