W-Class W-100 - W-Class Racing Sloop W-100

The new W-100' modern classic sloop is currently in design for W-Class Yachts of Newport, Rhode Island. These designs are in the spirit of the W-37', W-46' and W-76' models already sailing, of which multiple copies have been built, but in particular the W-76', designed by Joel White.

This 100' model has been designed to compete in classic yacht regattas such as the Eggemoggin Reach, Les Voiles de Saint Barth, Antigua Classic, the Bucket Series and for occasional cruising. She is the minimum size yacht to qualify for these events.  The interior and deck layouts have been optimized for crew efficiency, comfort and accommodations.

The boats will be constructed of wood/epoxy at Front Street Shipyard of Belfast, Maine and in conjunction with both Rockport Marine and Brooklin Boat Yard.
