SYL, a high quality and stylish fast cruising sloop of 43,60 m was designed by Germa?n Frers and custom built in Alustar for unlimited worldwide cruising. As a successful combination of comfort, safety, space and great sailing performance the yacht is predestined for luxury vacations on board. Her modern interior was composed by Victor Tebar together with the Barcos Deportivos design team with the idea to create a cool and light athmosphere. Her well thought-out layout features four similar sized double cabins: a large owner’s cabin, a child’s cabin and two guest cabins. Two crew cabins forward complete the accomodation.

On deck SYL shows again her stylish design with her flush deck configuration. The spacious cock- pit can be sheltered with a large retractable bimini top and dodger to provide easy seating for up to ten guests. Two tenders in the forepeak can be launched by a single telescopic crane. One of the tender wells serves as a jacuzzi while at anchor.

A completely retractable, vertically and hydraulically operated carbon fibre daggerboard, which results in a minimum draft of 2 m only and a maximum depth of 6 m, attains high stability while sailing. Integrated sailing and control systems, a carbon mast and furling boom and a self tacking jib contribute to the easy handling of the yacht.
