This Beneteau First 53f5 is a yacht for ocean-going cruises but is also perfectly at ease amongst a race fleet.

It has a hull with a minimum wetted surface. Ultrafine "V" entry. Rounded aft sections. A keel inspired by the great maxi yachts: streamlined, composite (of iron and lead), cleanly cutting drag, and lowering the centre of gravity. The First 53f5 awakens with the slightest breeze, and shows her true capabilities in a strong wind.
