Formerly Harbour Island, M/Y SOVEREIGN was launched in 2011 by U.S. builder Newcastle Marine.  At 1,100 gross tons, she has the same or more volume than most 60 meter yachts, offering her owners expansive living space. SOVEREIGN features six exceptionally appointed staterooms, including two master staterooms, to accommodate up to 14 guests. One of her master staterooms is located on the upper deck and features a 270-degree view. The other master is located on the main deck and offers guests incredible sights from eight two-meter oval windows.

SOVEREIGN’s main deck features a large main salon and dining area, and her upper deck is home to a panoramic skylounge with almost 10 inches of headroom. SOVEREIGN’s sundeck has ample seating and lounge space, as well as a full-service wet bar and an infinity-edge pool/jacuzzi. Additionally, SOVEREIGN is equipped with an aft tender garage/beach club, elevator for wheel chair access, Zero Speed stabilizers and state-of-the-art navigation and communication electronics.  

Built to ABS class and MCA compliant for the large yacht commercial code, SOVEREIGN is able to provide the highest level of comfort in all sea conditions and has transoceanic range, properly equipping her for safe global navigation. SOVEREIGN has been maintained in impeccable condition and, with accommodations for up to 14 crew in seven staterooms, she is prepared to handle all levels of owner service.

SOVEREIGN is a fantastic yacht that was built to rival the quality and capability of the Northern European pedigree shipyards. She has benefitted from two very conscientious owners. The first, the creator and builder of Sovereign, made sure the project included every skillset and opportunity to be successful. An experienced yachtsman, he did extensive research to locate the best designers, surveyors and shipyard to demonstrate American Yacht Building capabilities. Cost and time of build were secondary as quality was the number one priority. The second owner pushed even further to have a “state of the art” yacht. Ongoing, regularly scheduled surveys by Patton Marine, a meticulous experienced captain/engineer and crew, and an owner who demands, appreciates and funds the best. Sovereign is ready for her next adventure.

Measuring 1,100 gross tons, SOVEREIGN has more volume than many 60 meter yachts. With this kind of volume, the floor space of over 8,000 square feet provides an exceptional living area that accommodates two master staterooms, an additional four guest staterooms below, and room for 14 crew. The exceptional spaciousness is most notable in the panoramic sky lounge where the vaulted ceiling reaches nearly 10 feet high.

Her interior features exquisitely detailed woodwork, complimented by warm marble surfaces, elevator access to all floors, a very large tender garage that becomes a beach club and Gym, and multiple salons. Her exterior has an aggressive profile, large deck spaces, and features a large infinity edge Jacuzzi/pool on the sundeck. 

Her 34’ beam and +9’ draft, accompanied by her 4 fin Quantum Zero Speed Stabilizers, provide an exceptionally stable and comfortable ride in almost any sea. She is ready to explore destinations around the world and will rarely be restricted by weather and sea conditions.
