Collingwood 57 Widebeam - New arrival

Phyxius was purchased by her current owners when she was 6 months old. They undertook a total rebuild to their exacting requirements including totally upgraded electrics, New canopies, Satellite dish fitment, New radiators and underfloor heating, Redesign and fit out of the galley with Bosch appliances, New Entertainment centre, Redesign and fit out of the bathroom, Overhaul of the bedroom, New carpets, fitment of Shore support for water, wifi and 240v. With this amount of work as detailed further in this specification, Phyxius is a superbly presented one off Collingwood. The boat has a BSC valid to August 2017 

EXTERIOR

Forward Well with space for two chairs and a small table in comfort with a removable overhead canopy on a stainless steel frame with central support which gives standing headroom of approx 5'10''. Detachable side and forward sections allowing overhead canopy section to remain in place, Gas locker to bow, Bow button fender Bow Cleat Water tank sited under forward well. Twin teak opening doors to master cabin.

MASTER CABIN

Cabin features finished in light ash interior joinery with circular port lights to both sides of the cabin treated, as with all interior windows, with obscures to allow privacy yet maximise light circulation. Island double berth with ample storage below accessed from either side or the end. The end locker featuring 240v sockets for charging power tools etc. Bedside table units each side of the berth with storage facilities beneath each bedside table. Large double wardrobe with hanging area and 6 shelves incorporating excellent use of the available area. A further shelved area with 8 shelves to the port side of the warrobe. Fully carpeted throughout the cabin new in 2014.

CORRIDOR

Open access from the forward cabin to the corridor along the starboard side of the boat, featuring 1 circular port light and 1 picture window giving excellent natural light and a radiator ensuring good warmth. Lighting from ceiling LED as well as independently switched under-gunwhale LED strip/accent lighting.

TOILET AND SHOWER ROOM

Featuring a semi-circular domestic sized shower cubical with Grohe shower mixer and fixed riser rail. Adjacent the toilet with electric fresh water flush, with a shelf and storage cupboard outboard. Port light with privacy glass, four ceiling mounted LED lights and under-gunwhale LED lighting, switched separately from the ceiling lights. And fixed permanent ventilation. Along the opposite bulkhead to the shower a vanity unit fitted with under counter cupboards, Duravit Philippe Starck ceramic circular bowl basin fitted on top with a Grohe chrome mixer tap. To the inboard end of the unit a full height stowage cupboard with shelves for bathroom items. Opposite behind the door further shelving unit for towel stowage. Heating by a chrome heated towel rail and 240 volt underfloor heating zone with thermostatic timer control.

SECOND CABIN

Located aft of the shower room, currently fitted out as an office however easily converted to a bedroom with either two bunks or a double berth. The cabin benefits from excellent natural night by the picture window. Numerous 240 v plug points. Four LED ceiling lights and under-gunwhale LED lighting, switched separately from the ceiling lights. A fitted door to the corridor could be fitted if required.

SALOON

Located in an open plan design with the galley featuring two leather arm chairs ahead of a breakfast bar where there is the space for 4 stools, currently only 1 in use. To the forward bulkhead a fitted shelving unit with a flat screen TV located centrally and surrounded by numerous shelf and cupboard units which conceal the Satellite TV systems. The saloon features 2 picture windows, 6 ceiling LED's and under-gunwhale LED lighting, switched separately from the ceiling lights, 2 radiators and "Neo" heatmiser remote controlled thermostat.

 

 

GALLEY 

Open plan layout from the saloon with a sideboard immediately to starboard featuring storage cupboards and a pop up charging unit with USB options. Four stairs lead up to the rear deck, beneath which is the fridge. To the port side of the stairs with all controls for electronics and power control of inverter. The galley being fitted with an L shape unit to port. Good-sized worktops finished in Kennet Grey polished Q stone with sharks' nose edges. Fitted with Franke under counter stainless steel sink and single lever tap with spray extension, under counter soap dispenser Bosch four burner gas  hob. Located beneath the aft deck which is surrounded by a safety push pit rail, a double hatch gives excellent access to the engine, batteries, heater unit, calourifier, and weed hatch. Extra insulation has been added for soundproofing. Batteries and anodes all upgraded from standard specification.

AFT DECK 

Fitted with a removable overall acrylic canvas canopy on a stainless steel frame covering the entire rear deck, giving this area as an extension to the living area inside. Two storage boxes are fitted either side of the cabin access doors for general storage, the motor pedestal to port and centrally located tiller steering.
