Pearson P28-1

1979 Pearson P28-1 Boat is located in Newport News,Virginia.Please contact the owner @ 757-503-2154 or yoke97(at)verizon(dot)net...Foresail cover is 2 years old. Dodger and mainsail cover are just over 2 years old but have been removed from the boat during the winters. Sails are in very good condition and the engine runs great, Topsides are navy blue with a white deck and are also in very good condition. I am sure if you know sailing you are familiar with the Pearson boats and their high quality. The 28 refers to the boat's length. The one I have was made in 1979 and is in excellent condition. The sails and rigging are in very good condition as is the motor. The boat draws 4'6", has a 25 gallon water tank, a12 gallon fuel tank, depth finder, and a tiller minder system to maintain a set heading. there is a two burner propane stove piped to a bottle in a cockpit open side pocket. There is also a propane kettle grill that attaches to the aft railing and it is like new. The boat is not equipped with a refrigerator but does have a good sized ice box. I do not have a dinghy. I have attached several pictures from last summer's work on the bottom of the boat. I have included some from just after pressure washing before sanding and painting so you can see that it is in very good condition. Also, some after painting, one in the water, and some of the interior. The sails are in very good condition as well.
