Marlow Explorer 58E

While conventional wisdom in the marine industry holds that a company should introduce ever-larger models, we intend to bring the unsurpassed quality level of the Explorer lineup down into more modest sizes to satisfy an obvious demand. Our intention is to fill the obvious gaps existent within the segment of the marine marketplace we call home. The Explorer 57C follows the very successful introduction of the 65C, 70E, and 72C using the same technology of specifically engineered fabrics and resins. Our modified epoxy resins combined with the legendary strength of Dupont Kevlar assures a hull that can go to sea in less than favorable conditions keeping her passengers safe and comfortable.

Like her smaller and larger sisters in the ever expanding product line, the Marlow Explorer 57C exhibits comparatively huge volumes of space compared to typical polyester and woven roving construction with plywood bulkheads and wood framed bilges. By eliminating wooden supports, bulkheads and framing in favor of vacuum bagged sandwich construction we have once again been able to bring a yacht to market with 79" of headroom in the main salon and lower accommodations areas, 74" in the engine room and a total height to the top of the hardtop of just 18'. This low profile make a far superior sea boat with a drastically lowered center of gravity, while allowing the yacht to slip under many bridges an ordinary yacht in this size range would have to wait for.

The proprietary and protected Strut Keels® are used to great success allowing propeller protection and down sea tracking that has the industries' experts raving. Like feathers on an arrow, these twin tails guide and stabilize the yacht making heavy downwind running a delight rather than a white knuckle experience.

Featuring 304 stainless steel water tanks, fiberglass fuel tanks (no corrosion) and the finest fittings available from the premier suppliers around the globe, the 57C will be, like her sisters, a yacht for the ages.

Standing elegantly at a fine marina or forging her way through seas that would make ordinary yachts tremble, the Marlow Explore 57C will need no apology for any shortcoming. We have brought the craftsmanship from the descendants of the Ming and other Dynasty furniture makers together with the very best in Western technology resulting in an exquisite piece of art to be treasured by her lucky owners.

Whether you plan to visit the Galapagos, Prince Edward Island, Bermuda or the Spice Islands of the Caribbean the new 57C will take you there in comfort and safety carried in the hearts and hands of seamen who have been there before you. The lower deck standard layout of the Explorer 57C is fairly typical for a 57-foot raised pilothouse which includes the master stateroom amidships with a centerline king berth and an en suite head that benefits from streams of natural light. A portside stateroom and a forward stateroom share a head. Like all Marlow Yachts, the 57C is semi-custom and except for superstructure, no two yachts have been alike.

Unique and thoughtful features are boundless and too many to mention. For example, pull up a few floorboards and you will discover just one of countless hidden treasures aboard our 57C. The beautifully finished bilge has active and passive ventilation resulting in continuous airflow through the boat, helping to keep things fresh. Under the forward berth a self contained box houses the anchor chain. In order to keep weight out of the bow, we designed a system that places the chain approximately 13 feet abaft the stem. We also designed the system to automatically spray water inside the chain pipe while the windlass brings up the chain. All the items we have come to be known for that signify the very best will be clearly seen on this new Marlow Explorer. The Schwepper door hardware, Grohe Infinity bath and galley fixtures, polished stainless fittings in the engine room and bilges, high volume pumps, inverters and other features will all grace your 57C. Super duty drive train components worthy of much larger vessels will provide the propulsion force through our proprietary Strut Keels that provide great protection for the running gear and guarantee the straight tracking Marlow Explorers are famous for in inclement weather.

Old world craftsmanship blended with modern space age components and technology. Yachting will never be the same.

Marlow Yachts are limited production yachts built under constant supervision and stringent quality control procedures.  Very few products in the world undergo the battery of tests and scrutiny designed to make your yachting experience one of pleasure.  The major vacuum bagged components are built in only three major molds constituting a marvelous technological advance that eliminates dozens of potential leaks and unsightly joint areas.  Resin infusion is extensively used where appropriate.  The Marlow Explorer exterior finish is among the finest on earth and will look like fine porcelain for years to come.   Marlow yachts are designed and built to cross the oceans of the world in comfort and safety while the proprietary Strut Keel© technology allows inland and island cruising with fully protected running gear.  Marlow Yachts are certified by Bureau Veritas, Lloyds Register, and ISO 9001, a status enjoyed by less than a handful of pleasure powerboat manufacturers worldwide.
