Chris-Craft 20 Corsair
Ok, i'm not sure when Chris Craft converted their lapstrake wood hulls to lapstrake look of fiberglass, but this 1966 Corsair model must have been an early production. The hull is in excellent condition with no hull issues. This boat sat for 15 plus years inside our In/out drydock facility, never used. After aquiring this from unpaid obligations, we had started to refurbish it -but alais, i find no time to complete it. The engine runs perfect and has very good compression. We had it running 2yrs ago, pulled the manifolds to clean and paint, then never put back together. We will be glad to reassemble and gaurentee engine to be in running condition. No freeze cracks. Original fuel tank was pull as it was steel and corroding, so it needs a fuel tank. Structure of stringer is solid-no stringer rot--needs floor deck. The manual transmission works fine. This rig really has no hours, but neglected for years. I am cleaning up the marina yard-moving all non essential boats. If you have time, a little money and a heart to preserve this classic, please buy this! Any hull markings noticeable on any photos are from shrink tape residue. Boat appears to have been painted over a red gelcoat underneath. Some minor paint has pulled with shrink tape. TRAILER NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE- but can be purchased seperatly.
