The Zuma is a much more easily handled than the Laser.  While having 65 square feet of sail area she is 6" wider than the International Laser.  These parameters in addition to the hard chine on the shoulder of the hull add stability and manageability.  Maybe not the same degree of being out of control, yet yields a quick performance oriented "hot" sailboat.   Additionally, the Zuma includes a main halyard and zippered luff so you can leave the mast up and raise and lower the mainsail without having to lift the mast in and out of the boat.  Much easier for more moderate size sailors.

Further you'll notice that the cockpit is wider and bigger than many other "hot" single/double crew sailing dinghys.  

Equipment detail of the boat is tremendous.  She has a NORTH Sail, Silva Compass, impecable kickup rudder and centerboard, custom laminated curved tiller, tiller extension on original tiller, Zuma graphics, Blue jelcotes sides, scratch free underbody, high shine gelcote, custom Sunbrella cover and finally  an aluminum Trailex trailer that supports the hull under the gunwale and gives an very soft ride to the boat on the highway yet eliminates supporting the hull on its underbody.   Really spiffy!
