S&S Type 30'

Clasic boat wtih attractive triditional sheer that is in the water and ready to sail this season.  Glass over strip mahagony planking.  Split head rig with club footed stay sail and diesl engine.  A fine clasic boat currently equiped as a day sailor, an exelent opertunty to sail this summer. The engine develpoed a problem and needs to be replaced. The seller has lowered the price to reflect that need. 

Build in Holland in 1959, Restless Wind is a classic boat with a traditional shape.  The boat is presently in the water in Vineyard Haven Harbor.  The boat is rigged with a club footed staysail and jib which make it easy to handle.  The split head rig and tiller give the boat a very traditional feel.  Restless Wind has a varnished cabin house, toe rail, mast cockpit coming and handrails that also contribute to the traditional look of the boat.

The accommodations on Restless Wind are currently outfitted for day sails, but could be equipped as a cruising boat.  The Galley is equipped with a cooler and sink.  The through hull fittings for a head are installed, but the head and holding tank are not.  Restless Wind can comfortably sleep three to four people.  The main cabin has a force10 propane heater for cold nights.
