Bayliner Ciera Sunbridge 2655
Bayliner Ciera Sunbridge 2655. This is a beautiful boat which I have had the pleasure of
owning for six years now and this is the rare sought after wide-body model with the top of
the range optional engine fitted. This was the best and most powerful version produced by
Bayliner and the boat was directly imported into the UK from the United States. Full
Customs Advice, Customs Clearance, HMC Duty, HMC VAT paperwork is included in the sale as
part of the comprehensive owner’s documentation. The boat has three double berths which
will comfortably sleep six adults (1 double berth at the front, 1 double berth in the
middle, 1 double berth to the rear of the boat) with plenty of headroom and space and it is
in its original finish from the day it left the Bayliner factory with all its original
fixtures, fittings and furnishings and remains completely untouched.
I have replaced the old black coloured windows on the
front of the hull and replaced them with new white ones (at a cost of £500 receipt included)
that sit flush to the hull which gives the boat a much more modern sleeker look than other
Bayliner boats. I have also removed all the water skiing fixtures and fittings which were
not needed and the remaining holes were sealed with liquid fibreglass which will need
finishing. All the removed fittings, fans, internal telephone system, CB radios and others
too long to list here will be included in the sale. Full service history is included in the
comprehensive owners documentation which includes the original owner’s manual, import
receipts, certificate of title, all service maintenance receipts etc, along with all other
information.
The boat has the highly desirable top of the range optional engine fitted, the OMC Ford 460
cubic inch 320hp 7.5 litre V8 engine with a King Cobra Stern drive. The engine had a full
comprehensive service in 2009 at a cost of £600 (receipt included) and the engine has hardly
been run since then and has only seen 270 hours running time since new which when equated
with a car, is extremely low mileage. The engine runs smoothly and starts with ease in
Neutral but when put in gear, cuts out. The throttle and throttle cables that link to the
engine have various settings at both ends which need setting to the correct tensions to
enable the engine to engage into gear which someone with good marine mechanical knowledge or
a qualified marine mechanical engineer should be able to resolve.
The interior is in very good condition with all the original nylon carpet, curtains and
original seat covers. Some covers are beginning to show their age but they are all in
perfectly usable condition. The same could be said of the vinyl covering to the cockpit
seating area which is beginning to look a bit tatty and will need to be replaced at some
stage but again, perfectly usable.
