Fairey Huntress 23

A stunning totally rebuild Huntress 23 from 1967 but described by a surveyor as being "better than new". A must for an enthusiast or anyone wanting to stand out from the crowd.

• Hull is of 6 x 1/8” laminations of Agba mahogany veneers glued, compressed and baked together
• Outer hull lamination removed and replaced in major 6 year rebuild 1994-99 together with inner lamination
• Additional stiffening to hull plus new keel
• Marine ply sub-deck replaced and new teak deck laid
• Superstructure replaced completely, new cabin windows and windscreen.
• New laminated Teak & Holly cockpit floor panels fitted.
• New teak rubbing strake and toe rails fitted.
• New spray rails to Alan Burnard’s re-design providing dry cockpit, windscreen and raised cabin roof.
