C&C C&C 30 - New arrival

The C&C 30 was designed by Rob Ball of C&C Yachts as a solid performer but with a nod towards families needs for comfortable sailing and comfortable accommodations for live aboard cruising. The cockpit is easy to manouvre within and the double gates and double life lines allow safe entry onto and off the wide side decks of the boat. The stern of the 30 folds down and a boarding/ swim ladder is revealed when it is deployed ... a key safety feature of the 30 as it facilitates easy access onto the boat should there ever be a M.O.B. situation.

As you enter the main cabin of the 30, the galley is immediately in front of you to port and features a gimballed 2 burner propane stove with oven, a generous refrigerated ice-box area and ample cupboard and drawer storage for cutlery and dishes.

The head/shower combination is conveniently located amdships opposite the galley area on starboard where there is easy access from the companionway and critically, where any movement of the boat is minimized. Both the galley and head feature pressurized hot and cold fresh water.

As far as the accommodations are concerned, the V-berth with its' opening in the bulkhead to allow plentiful air movement for fresh breezes to flow through has accommodations for 2. The main cabin features two settees with the starboard settee becoming a single berth and the port folds out to create a double berth. The aft berth area to port  is a large, man sized berth for two and throughout there are hatches and opening ports in the critical sleeping areas of the boat.

All in all the C&C 30 has earned its' reputation honestly as a high quality built boat that has withstood the test of time. This particular 30 has been sailed only in the fresh waters of Lake Cayuga in the Finger Lakes of Western New York and only for a couple of months per year. As a C&C 30, she represents one of the best 30 foot designs and quality builds on the market and that includes the new genre of boats available today.
