The 41 Formosa was built of thick hand laid fiberglass construction and originally offered teak decks over a plywood sub deck, but this boats teak was removed long ago and a thick fiberglass deck was added over the sub deck for an easy maintenance non-slip surface. Sea Lark is in sail away condition ready to leave the dock tomorrow with all necessary equipment for comfortable living and cruising. The boat is set up as a cutter ketch and both main and mizzen booms have stack packs and lazy jacks for ease of use. The hanked on staysail has a self tending boom and there are 3 hanked on jibs for various sea and wind conditions. There is also a large spinnaker with a dousing sock and a small asymmetrical spinnaker for downwind sailing. The huge cockpit has great storage and comfortable seating with most all lines run into the cockpit for safety while single handling. This owner has also installed a linear drive autopilot, a hydro vane self steering system and was able to adapt the self steering into an emergency rudder with a tiller pilot hook up. The interior offers abundant teak, opening hatches and ports, 4 sleeping berths, 1 full private head and a stall shower for ease of clean up. The salon is wide open with 4 large windows for light, a convertible dinette, 2 settees and a table next to the port settee housing the engine with great access. Back in 2011 the old chain plates were removed and the new SS outboard chain plates were installed with all new standing and running rigging. The deck and hull are in great shape and new bottom paint, new drive shaft, new cutlass bearing and new bronze prop with speed prop were added in 2014.

As you step down the companionway ladder you will find the full working galley to starboard and the convertible dinette to port with storage behind. Down 1 step and you will find the single berth settee to port, lift up cocktail table centerline with great engine access under followed by the convertible pullout double berth to starboard. Moving forward to port is the large head with toilet, sink, mirror and storage, salon entry door, towel holder and private master stateroom entry door followed by the stall shower with curtain and opening port. Starboard of the head is the master stateroom with private salon entry door, large hanging locker and pullout double Pullman berth. Forward of the master is a huge sail storage room with overhead hatch, closets and cabinets as well as access to the anchor locker. Sea Lark will sleep 7 owners and guests and has 1 head and 1 stall shower.
