With both bow and stern thrusters she is extremely manoeuvrable, and with the 125 hp Yanmar you can cruise all day at 11 knots without breaking the bank, knowing there is another four knots of speed if needed to get you to that special anchorage in time to catch the sunset.

For the fisher folk Akashi was fitted out by the original owner with an outboard bracket for a small kicker located on the swim grid. There are also two rod holders and a fish well in the cockpit.
