ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT:   Sleeps 4 owners and guests in 2 staterooms, plus 2 dinette and 2 settee berths for a total of 8 berths.  The master stateroom is forward with head, shower and V berth.  Note also the following features: cushions; dinette; 6’headroom; helm seat.

 

Cushions are covered with blue Sunbrulla fabric:  teak and holly sole: cedar lined closets: enclosed quarter berth to starboard sleeps two.

GALLELY: Galley down; icebox; Cng/Galley 2 burner with oven; water heater; pressure, manual water system.

VHF radio;  5” compass;  Datamarine depth sounder and speed & distance logs;  stereo

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM;  12 volt (DC); 110 volt (AC);  2 batteries with parallel switch ( 250 amp-hours total);  50 amp automatic battery charger;  dockside electrical cables.

DECK & HULL:  2 CQR, Danforth anchors; bow pulpit with rails; side stanchions with lifelines (new 09’) ; bimini top; fiberglass deck; fenders and lines; 6 life jackets/ life ring navigation lights; swim ladder; hull is finished with two part Imron.  NOTE: All deck hardware was removed, topsides were painted with awlgrip,  hatches and portholes were rebuilt and hardware was rebedded in 2009.

Since the purchase of Silent Running in 1994, the owner has made yearly improvements and has maintained all aspects of the boat. 

95’-blisters repaired and 6 coats of West System Epoxy Barrier Coat applied.  .75 oz. Asymmetrical spinnaker purchased.

96’-Original aluminum fuel tanks were replaced due to leaks.  Cabin sole was replaced, and 2 -12 gal plastic fuel tanks installed as well as 35 gal water tank.

2000- New UK tape drive Head Sail.

01’- Hydraulic Backstay added, Raytheon ST-4000 auto pilot added.

02’- Cutless Bearing replaced.

09’- All deck hardware was removed, Bomar hatches and port hatches were rebuilt.  Topside & mast was painted with Awlgrip.  Teak was replaced and all hardware was rebedded. 

10’- the boat was repowered with a Beta 25hp diesel & new transmission.

Doyle- Lazy Jack & Sail cover system; not installed but included.

Silent Running is currently in use and ready for cruising or Club or long distance racing.
