Cape Bay Yachts Liberty - New arrival

*** 2nd MAJOR PRICE REDUCTION ***

This is the Cape Bay version of the Ericson Independence

"Far Out" is a custom-built cutter rig designed by Bruce King. The same design as an Ericson Independence.  She was completed in 1982 by Cape-Bay/ Squadron Yachts in Humarock, Mass. She was hand-built and finished to the highest of standards, as she was constructed to be the "Boat Show" model for Cape-Bay/Squadron Yachts. She has a clipper bow and cutter rig with large transom mounted rudder. Designed as a blue water cruiser by Bruce King, she is extremely well balanced and her cut-away full keel makes her a performance yacht.  This boat has all the extras a cruising boat needs and is truly cruise ready. Most upgrades have been made within the last seven years. She is “turn key” and ready to cruise.

Standing Rig: Roller furling fore-sail and stay-sail. All lines lead to the cockpit for single-handed management. Ash shroud covers for chafe protection and hand-hold safety while on deck. New halyards and other lines (2004, 2005, and 2007) where required. Sails: 155 Genoa, Yankee, Stay-sail, Spinnaker (new 2003, never used), North full-batten mainsail (2004).
