Dopo l' impronta sportiva della sua prima barca (lo Ziggurat 916) il cantiere Cpr di Fiumicino (Roma) commissionò ad Andrea Vallicelli un progetto più confortevole. Nacque così nel 1981 lo Ziggurat 995, un cabinato leggero dalle linee strette e baglio massimo centrale. È una barca facile da condurre, con buone prestazioni di bolina e il passaggio morbido sull?onda. Dal pozzetto, nel quale sono rinviate tutte le manovre, è possibile ispezionare il motore posto sotto il pagliolo. Gli interni prevedono la cuccetta di quarto sulla dritta e la cucina a sinistra, prima del quadrato a divani contrapposti. Il bagno è accessibile anche dalla cabina prodiera.
