Watkins W27

Designed by the Watkins Bros. and Walter Scott, the Watkins 27 differs from other designs with her generous bean of 10' and moderately heavy displacement of 7,500 lbs.  Emphasis is on interior room, stowage areas and cockpit space.  Her interior is roomy with ample headroom.  Pressured water and shore power are standard.  She sleeps five in big berths and happily avoids the dinette arrangement, preferring the more practical table that drops from the forward bulkhead.  The galley is L-shaped to starboard.  The Watkins 27  is at least a foot wider and 1000 lbs. heavier than the average 27' yachts, with her rig  proportionately larger to move her at good speeds.

"Angelina" is a solid example of this classic yacht. Her hull was compounded and waxed, bottom painted and engine serviced summer 2014.  She is ready for your sailing adventures this week-end!

The salon is entered 3 steps down from a roomy cockpit.  Well equipped galley is to starboard with a settee forward of the galley.   A quarter berth is aft to port with a settee forward.  The head is forward to port with a spacious v-berth forward.  The interior is open and spacious and feels like a much larger yacht.  All fabrics and wood are in good shape and clean.
