Sparkman & Stephens Design 207 - ONAIRE III

ONAIRE III, HMCo#1508, is the last large yacht built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Co.  She was designed by Sparkman & Stephens, Design #207.

She has had only three owners, all of whom spent a lot of time and resources to keep her in Bristol fashion. The boat was built for Walter Todd of Rochester N.Y. and sold to Alexander Beebee, also of Rochester N.Y. The present owner's philosophy has been to keep her original classic grace and beauty while updating electronics and mechanics. As a result, she has been awarded The Finest Classic Yact Award and Best Owner Maintained Yacht by the Museum of Yachting in Newport, RI.

 She is currently being restored.  Her hull has been completely restored and work continues on deck and below.  Owner is looking to sell as is, or partner with someone to complete.
