LBSS proudly presents for sale TRADER, a 70’ Ultra-Light Displacement Yacht with a fine racing pedigree.Designed by Alan Andrews and built by White Knight Boat Works & Acton Yachts, USA in 1993, she is the perfect choice for racing the Asian Regatta circuit or as a fast and stylish offshore cruiser.

TRADER spent eight years successfully racing on the US circuit with many 1^st placing’s and records to her credit prior to a complete refit in California before embarking on a leisurely cruise across the Pacific to Hong Kong and Asia.As you would expect from a yacht of this quality and performance she is GRP composite construction with PVC foam core and a lead bulb keel and is powered with a Yanmar 4JH3-DTE 125hp diesel with three blade feathering Maxprop.Standing rod rigging is Navtec, running rigging is Spectra leading to 11 Harken winches and the 4 spreader mast and boom is extruded alloy with a hydraulic backstay and fitted with Schaeffer 4100 roller headsail furling. The extensive sail inventory includes a Dacron Mainsail with 2 reefs, 2 x Genoas , Storm Jib, 4 x Asymmetric Spinnakers and 4 x Symmetrical Spinnakers.

TRADER was fitted with a complete set of new Raymarine electronics in 2014 including C125 Plotter, Radar, Wind, Depth and Speed displays, EV-400 Autopilot and a WM4000 Stereo with BOSE Speakers in saloon and cockpit.  All batteries were replaced in 2014. Full IOR safety equipment is included on board for the serious racer. Full Inventory available on request.
