Macgregor 26C - Trailer-Sailer Combo

Macgregor 26C built and launched in 1992 complete with road trailer. This is the sailing version and has the smaller engine that preceded the 26X which had the centre console and 50hp engine. Large and comfortable accommodation, good level of equipment and well maintained during current ownership. Draft is only a foot with the keel up making her easy to launch and retrieve and allows exploration of our shallower rivers and creeks.

Ideal first boat for those with a young family looking to get afloat without spending a fortune.

 GRP constructed yacht in white gel coat. Moulded non slip decks and large self bailing cockpit. Pivoting centre board keel deduces the draft making her easier to launch and retrieve. Water ballast system on hull operated by a valve. On launch the valve is opened allowing 1,200 Lbs. of water on board. This operation is reversed on retrieval. This allows the average family car to tow the boat negating the need to purchase a 4x4.

The 26C has more of a sailing boat hull and has the tiller with kick back rudder arrangement.
