Carver Californian 48 - An innovative cruiser

The Californian range, based on different models, ranging from 45 up to 53 feet, had an early success on the “trawlers” market, yachts based on the fishermen lines. An this, for different reasons that made them stand out from the rest. The first reason is their ingenious use of space, laid in different level decks, thus improving enormously the liveability for each model, far over the limits of their respective size. Their interior is full os very good ideas, as the double dinette, one in the saloon and the other in front of the galley. Theis cabins are huge and the owner's suite is really amazing. The Californian 48 is a vessel of original shape, a real “pocket megayacht”, ideal for blue water cruising and even to live a board. The second reason is in their performances, higher than the average for traditional trawlers. Their Detroit Diesel engines have gained an indestructible fame and Californians have usually mounted those engines that this unit spots. She is in very god shape, always owned by the same family, she is now being sold due to his owner health, that does'nt allow him to sail any longer.
