Stephens Classic Double Cabin My

The Stephens Brothers Yard in Stockton, California is widely regarded as the most prolific and respected yacht builder of the Classic (pre-World War II) Period for their excellence in design, materials and craftsmanship. Conquest is unique in that she was custom designed and built to more robust scantlings than typical yachts of her era with a 11' beam, a 4'10" draft, and a documented tonnage of 26 tons.

Re-powered with twin Chrysler Marine Industrial "Hemi" V-8's, she cruises comfortably at 10 knots with a top speed of 15 knots making her one of the fastest yachts of the period. Conquest features a full flybridge with radar, autopilot, and other tastefully incorporated modern items and creature comforts such as generator, gourmet galley, two enclosed marine heads with hot & cold pressure water, shower and more. Construction is of carvel planked Port Orford Cedar over White Oak and Apatong frames, fastened with Silicon Bronze screws and rivets and Burmese Teak cabinetry. Her interior is exquisite with tasteful lighting of the period, etched mirrors, beveled glass, and a tiled shower stall. Conquest is among the most pristine classic motor yachts in the world today and must be seen and experienced to be truly appreciated.
