The Carver 430 Cockpit Motor Yacht has been a very successful Carver design and continues its popularity in the pre-owned motor yacht markets in North America and Europe.  Its roomy cockpit and spacious aft deck give it a much improved profile over that of many of its competitors.  Combined with a large bridge, side decks and a generous fore deck, the yacht’s external lay-out is well suited for the Caribbean.  An ample interior with two staterooms, large salon, and a galley/dinette area afford a gracious living and entertainment environment.  Nordic has been in the Caribbean for some 15 years.  Owned by the same family during this time, she was used for countless vacation and fishing trips throughout most of the islands between Trinidad and St. Vincent. Recently with their children grown up, Nordic has become a preferred destination for informal social gatherings and short trips when staying in Grenada. The owners recognize that Nordic now requires someone with more time and energy to tidy her up, catch up with outstanding maintenance and take her cruising again. Although already priced very competitive, the owners are highly motivated sellers and open to any reasonable offer.

Nordic can comfortably sleep 8 persons with a double berth in each cabin and the capability to convert the dinette table into a double berth plus the settee in the Salon affords the owner a like conversion capability. With the availability of 3 direct/reversible air units, the interior temperature may be maintained at very comfortable levels.

FORWARD CABIN: Large double berth with hanging and storage lockers. The forward head is located to port with access from both the cabin and the galley/ dinette area. Up two stairs and one enters the very spacious salon with the interior helm position to starboard and up access to the aft deck and down access to the aft cabin to port. An ‘L’ shaped settee is aft of the helm station. Access to both engines and the generator is quickly gained by lifting up floor boards in the salon.

AFT CABIN: Large double berth to port with an ensuite head located to starboard. With good storage, a hanging locker, and convenient access to the aft cockpit through a sliding door this cabin is an excellent ‘owner’s cabin’.

HEADS: Both head compartments have a wash basin, stall showers, good stowage and flush heads. Pressurized hot and cold water throughout.

GALLEY: Refrigerator with freezing compartment to port with a sink aft and microwave (needs to be replaced) above the sink. A three burner, electric Princess stove completes the ‘L’ shaped galley. The dinette table with fore and aft bench seats is to starboard.

AFT DECK: Surrounded by a secure hand rail, the aft deck is a lovely entertainment area. To starboard is a wet bar with an ice-maker (needs to be replaced) underneath and a small refrigerator. Sufficient space for a centered round table with captain’s chairs, the access to the bridge is to port. Access to the aft cockpit is down a ladder to port.

BRIDGE: A comfortable bucket helm seat is slightly off centerline to port. Aft of the helm seat and forward of the steering/instrument console are two bench seats which provide comfortable seating for 8-10 guests. Additional storage is available under the bench seats and in the forward section of the flybridge.

AFTER COCKPIT: a self-draining, large enclosure provides a perfect fishing/entertainment/swimming area. A transom door to the swim platform adds additional functionality to this area which is further complimented with an outdoor fresh water shower. Access to the rudder logs, automatic pilot controls and auxiliary fuel tank is afforded by three hatches in the cockpit.
