Wheeler Boatyards 65' Gentlemans Yacht - Classic Cruising in Style

This is a great opportunity to cruise in the sun on a classic gentlemans motor lauch from 1937. This Wheeler 65 is a custom built, quality motor-yacht with refurbished teak hull. Offering spacious, well planned accommodation for extended holidays in the sun or cruising the Mediterranean. Ebb Tide is a custom built classic motor-yacht designed by Howard Wheeler and built in 1937 by the Wheeler Yacht Company of Brooklyn, New York.

In addition to being a beautiful classic yacht this Wheeler 65 has a long and interesting history including a starring role in the television series 'Rip Tide'

The current owner bought Ebb Tide in San Diego in 2004, before having the vessel shipped from Long Beach to Genova, Italy. In more recent years Ebb Tide has cruised the Med. from a Spanish Marina near the French Riviera.

Traditional carvel construction, teak planked hull on oak frames. Laid swept teak deck and aft cockpit. Flared bow with raked stem, varnished transom stern, hard chine bilges with long straight keel.

The owner will consider a part exchange for a 50-55 foot boat...
