Beneteau Antares 620Hb - The new unsinkable fishing cruiser

Beneteau Antares 620 HB

This has to be the ultimate angling machine, purchased with angling in mind and added to & improved by an enthusiastic angler. The whole vessel is in pristine condition, carrying every conceivable extra. This unsinkable model from Beneteau is used in France for training & safety at sea, by the French Lifeboat. Fitted with a Yamaha 115hp AET 4st & auxiliary Yamaha 6hp. Both engines are run through with fresh water every time after use. Hydraulic steering. Navigation equipment:- Furuno M1623 radar, GP 7000 GPS/plotter with C-map, Furuno FCV 600 L fish finder, Flush fit Icom ICM 421 VHF, Plastimo compass, GPS & outboard log, Rulan helm indicator, clock & barometer complement this well laid out wheelhouse. The wiring has been upgraded accordingly to cope  with the extensive electronics. 1 x 12v battery & solar panel trickle charger,  Safety:- Seago 4 man valise liferaft, lifejackets, life ring, manual foghorn, Visball radar reflector, 2 dry powder fire extinguishers, first aid kit, auto bilge pump at stern, manual at helm. 2 x upgraded wipers & Vetus motors. PTO

Deck equipment:- 8kg fob anchor warp & chain, folding 6kg fob, extra spring cleats, opening hatch in deck head, boarding ladder, boat hook, custom made s/steel radar arch, folding cockpit seat & storage under cockpit floor, excellent walk around deck, anchor locker forward. Hull treated with Gel Shield from new then International antifoul.Sacrificial GRP keel band.

Saloon:- Side opening windows, helm seat, tackle storage, rod racks, folding seat to stbd, chemical loo forward, with added storage & locker covers tastefully fitted out, trimmed in mahogany & fitted carpets throughout, wash basin behind helm seat with 20ltr water tank, all cushions for saloon & cockpit seat in new condition. Various grab handles inc' a full length vertical stainless handle floor to roof with a stand off to strengthen sliding door access to saloon.  A viewing would fully appreciate this saloon.

Extras:- Achilles inflatable tender with 3hp 2st Yamaha Malta O/b - hardly used.

Also worth noting is this boat?s shallow draft: only 40cm (16 ins) with the engine raised.This boat will be previewed at the next Grand Pavois boat show and will be available to buy from autumn 2004.
