This beautiful Bradford 72’, built in 1974 by Master Craftsmen - Lars Halverson & Sons Ltd. in NSW, Australia for Bradford Yachts, is for sale near Portland Oregon. She is uninspected and holds 12 passengers Administrative Waiver to the Jones Act (meaning she can operate for hire in Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii.

The vessel is semi displacement hull similar to Navy PT Boat design to be light and fast. Major engine and reduction gear changes have been completed, currently has less than 200 hrs. The hull speed is estimated at 9.5 knots. She cruises at 8kts burning approximately 6 gals per hr with a top speed at 12kts burning @ approximately 10 gals per hr.  Built on a stiff wooden frame with Aluminum I-beam stringers and frame cage in the engine room for engine bearers. Hull is mahogany / Oak   ¾” mahogany planking. The hull is 1” thick with ¾ & ¼” mahogany planking and covered with epoxy/fiberglass coating.

This yacht has a huge interior layout on 3 levels with almost 2000 square ft. of deck and living area. She features a gigantic flybridge deck (40’x19’) and massive Sea Mark custom cover for entertaining with guest seating for 9. Two Davits for boats and toys.

Her interior accommodations feature beautifully carved Glass Artwork. She has a total of 5 Staterooms - 3 staterooms aft situated for six guests, and two rooms forward situated for three crewmembers w/separate crew sitting area, she has 5 heads, and the Master Stateroom is a full beam aft-cabin with full size bath tub. The interior is currently under renovation and as pictured or better and estimates to complete have been from $15-20K.

She has recently been refitted with Twin 871 Detroit Diesel Engines and Gears and has less than 200 hours. She runs out very smooth and efficient for economical cruising.
