The Sailcruiser series are the height of the skill of Gulfstar yachts. The hull was computer designed and according to all reports has excellent sea handling characteristics under sail and power. Twin turbocharged diesels allow good motoring or motorsailing performance under one or both engines. They make docking and maneuvering easy. The interior is a symphony of stunning light teak joinery with Gulfstar’s legendary cambered corners, cabinetry, and cabin doors. Clearly comfort and saftey can be experienced in the large enclosed center cockpit with easy access below. The large aft cockpit is very unique and extremely useful.

Her owner's have kept and cared for her and reluctantly are "Just finished with cruising". She is on her way to Fort Lauderdale, FL to find her next captain to explore the world. This can easily be accomplished with her stout build, heavy displacement and relatively low draft.

She is currently in Fort Lauderdale.
