Graham Radford Design Fast Cruiser - New arrival

This is the perfect amalgamation of Cruiser and Racer. Her ability to traverse long distances makes it a pleasure to sail and provides great security having the ability to outrun or avoid storms. The retractable keel means that this large fast yacht sits comfortable in the shallows with the cats, making cruising even more pleasurable.

Built in 1994 for the 50th Sydney to Hobart race but designed to be sailed short handed, Wildcard was updated for cruising in 2004 and in 2006.   She has reached speeds of 26 knots in race configuration and 19 knots when cruising. She has amazing stability thanks to the 3T lead bulb keel. She has sailed from Tasmania to Singapore by way of the Kimberleys,  Sumatra and Thailand.

This boat has been an extremely reliable and faithful racer/cruiser and would suit a restoration project knowing the finished product is fast, fun and easy to cruise with a shallow keel and low fuel consumption. Owners are sad to part with her but imminent relocation means she must sell.
