The Mandarin 52 Motorsailer Sloop is a capable and seasoned blue water world cruiser, coastal sailor and comfortable livaboard.  Sleeps 6 in 2 master staterooms and 2 single bunk berths, and an additional 4 guests or crew in salon and pilothouse. 2 full heads with showers. Able to cross any ocean under sail or power with her single 210hp Cummins diesel and 500gal of fuel. Bow thruster, generator, watermaker, W/D, A/C, water heater and more she is well equipped with redundant systems, tools and spare parts. The M52 is a Blaine Sealy designed motorsailer, built in Hong Kong In 1996 for world cruising, coastal sailing or marina live aboard in extreme comfort. With features typically found in sailing craft 65' and larger, the M52 can cross any ocean under sail or power. In fact, if difficulties befall the captain, fire up the engine and drive to the nearest port, up to 3000 miles away with 550 gallon fuel capacity.

With comfortable amenities such as sleeping for 10, large refrigerator and freezer capacity, 3 zones of independent air conditioning and cabin heat, 6'4" headroom, this is a home away from home. The pilot house provides the most comfortable means for short or long passages and comfortably seats 5 for meals while providing a panoramic view of the surroundings. The current owner sailed the world in shorts and t-shirt, while accompanying cruisers who cruised in full foul weather gear.

While underway the M52 can sail at speeds up to 9.5 kts. In frequent times of little wind or headwind, the mainsail and engine are designed to work in tandem for maximum speed and stability combined with low fuel consumption - 1 gallon an hour at 5-6 kts.

From a safety standpoint, beyond the heavy robust construction, the M52 has redundant systems for bilge pumps, VHS, GPS, autopilot with cockpit warning system on all critical ship elements.

The current owner returned in 2013 after 30,000 + miles of global travel. The vessel was tuned up in 2014 with the intent to sail to the South Pacific in 2015. She is well equipped with spares, tools and back up items on board. (Features provided by owner)
