This S-shaped sailingyacht made from steel, signed by the famous designer of the city, type Marsdiep 34 FT, is so incredibly beautiful, that sailing with this boat is an experience in itself.

 

General.

The Argo is a wonderful seagoing yacht with a nice sailing behavior, is 11.20 m long, 2.95 m wide and has a keel centerboard, so the depth varies between 1.15 m and 1.95 m. She has nice wide gangways, a beautiful teak deck, a beautiful teak cabin and many beautiful original details, for instance beautiful bronze window frames. The ship has had in 2013 such a refit that she is almost new again. The Argo is not only a great sailing ship, but a joy just to stay on it or just to look at.

 

Rigging

Van Vliet sailing, battened mainsail 26,87 m2, brown stitching (2006), spare mainsail, furling genoa 140% on Profurl (2006), 2 x extra genoa, mainsail cover (2006), 12.50 m passage height, Oregon Pine mast, boom and spiboom in 2013 brought in new condition, stainless steel rigging, original bronze tensioners, spray hood, almost new tent all over the ship, mast lowering system.

 

Engine

Volvo Penta MD2 17 hp diesel (1974), revised in 2003, fixed propeller, three-bladed, grease lubricated propeller shaft, stainless steel fuel tank 70 l

12 V, 2 x battery 100 Ah, batterycharger, Sestrel-Moore compass, Brooks & Gatehouse log and depth sounder( battery power), Shipmate VHF, Raymarine chartplotter 435i, Renaud ssb, Raymarine ST4000 autopilot {2007}

2 burner gas stove, 2x stainless steel water tank of 55 liters, water pressure system, Blake Gosport toilet
