Jeanneau Sun Kiss 47 - New arrival

Fantastic liveaboard vessel. ‘Live the Dream’ in the Mediterranean ! This 1989 Sun Kiss 47 has been continuously updated for live-aboard cruising & has been converted to three cabin, two head layout, with large cosy saloon, practical galley (new 3 burner stove 2012) & huge comfortable cockpit.??This vessel has a fin keel, deep partial skeg-hung rudder (new bearings 2012) and a forward garage-workshop! Reconditioned (2011) with Perkins 80Hp Turbo diesel, (only 250 hours!) new exhaust, raw water, electrical & morse control systems & reconditioned Hurth Gearbox to shaft driven prop (2013), new shaft seal (2012). Main, 140% Genoa on roller furling, Asymmetric Spinnaker with sock, & additional inner-forestay stay-sails. New boom lazy bag (2012). New boom-mounted full shade cover (2012) Bimini & zipped infill shade covers and full cockpit squabs (2012). 2 new 100W solar panels, HD wiring & MPPT solar controller (2012). Hull was completely epoxied in 2001,& additionally in 2012 the entire hull and keel was stripped back to epoxy, & a further 4 coats of epoxy primer applied, prior to 4 coats of Coppercoat antifouling being applied. ??The interior layout is a 3 cabin version with 2 heads. At the forepeak is an anchor locker with a heavy duty 1200 watt Lofrans Falcon windlass. Main anchor is a Bugel, with 3 backup anchors (Danforth & CQR) with 75m of 12mm chain. Aft of that is the "garage-workshop". It is a full depth storage locker - bench vice fitted, large enough to walk & stand in, with access from the cabin and through a large deck hatch. Aft of that is the forward head, shower & vanity with access to the master (large double cabin) to port and expansive clothes storage area to starboard. The main salon has a large "U" shaped dinette that can seat up to 9. The seating was re-upholstered in sandstone leatherette in 2012. Continuing aft on the port side of the salon is a front-opening 240V fridge and a storage locker below. Along the starboard side of the salon is the galley with lots of counter space, deep top-loading 12V fridge with identical chiller alongside, and double stainless steel sinks. New Smev-Moonlight, 3-burner, grill and oven fitted in 2012. At the aft starboard corner of the salon is the navigation station and electrical distribution panels. Continuing aft are two guest staterooms with hanging lockers and a private vanity in each. Between the two staterooms is a shared head and shower compartment. The cockpit floor opens to expose the machinery space so that you can stand and work on the generator and engine. Access to the machinery space is also possible through hatches in the port and starboard aft cabins and the aft head. ??Great sailing, well-priced, roomy safe vessel – easily handled by a couple or family.
